The health centre is an established operation located in Östra Göteborg, a district undergoing significant development. The premises are fresh and bright with good connections to the city centre nearby. We are 56 people working in various professions at the health centre, serving approximately 14,350 registered patients of all ages. In the same building, there are a Child Health Centre (BVC), a rehabilitation clinic, and a midwife clinic.

About the Job
We are launching our new Elderly Care Clinic, and your tasks will focus on this startup. The work will involve planned elderly care, VPL (Care Planning and Management), SAMSA (Coordinated Geriatric Care), home visits, and team visits. Therefore, we would prefer that you have previous experience as a geriatric nurse and are given the opportunity to launch the elderly care clinic. You will be the "hub" for our elderly patients.
You will work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.
The work involves both emergency and planned operations. You will work largely independently with your own clinic, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close cooperation occurs with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home healthcare and other specialist care. Together with the health centre management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operation forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.
About You
You are a registered nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working with elderly care within home healthcare and/or with SAMSA, but we also welcome recent graduates.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.
In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in digitalization and business development.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite relevant candidates to a phone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
