Assignment Description

We are looking for an Automation & Electrical Engineer.

What You Will Work On

  • Develop automation solutions for packaging equipment and industrial systems.
  • Design, program, test, and commission PLC-based control systems.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain HMI applications and automation software.
  • Design and maintain automation databases supporting machine functionality.
  • Perform system analysis and develop technical solutions based on project requirements.
  • Participate throughout the automation development lifecycle, including documentation, development, testing, and commissioning.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional Scrum team to deliver complete automation solutions.
  • Ensure automation systems meet functional, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Support ongoing troubleshooting and technical problem resolution.
  • Provide automation support and training for customer personnel when required.
  • Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines to optimize system functionality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and engineering practices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with the complete automation engineering process, including documentation, development, testing, and commissioning.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation systems and control engineering.
  • Experience developing and modifying HMI applications.
  • Understanding of industrial automation architecture and system integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related technical issues.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments is an advantage.
  • Experience with Rockwell automation platforms is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
