The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) is now looking for an Information Security Specialist who wants to help build the security of the future. The changed global situation means that our defense needs to be strengthened, and the increased intelligence activity against Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces is extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) operates within defense intelligence, military intelligence, and military security services.

What we offer

As an Information Security Specialist at Must, you will work on developing information security within the framework of security protection at a national level. Together with your colleagues, you will design policies, regulations, and other rules within the field of information security. You will keep up with technological developments and follow the methods and approaches of our adversaries to always stay one step ahead. At Must, no two days are alike. Who you are

To succeed in this position, you must be able to switch between long-term work and solving tasks with very short timeframes. A large part of the work is done in collaboration with others, which places high demands on your ability to create and maintain good relationships. It is important that you have good judgment, a professional demeanor, and high integrity.

Requirements

  • An academic degree relevant to the position, for example in cyber or information security, systems science, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • At least three years of professional experience in information security, cyber security, or experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Good ability to understand and express yourself in speech and writing in English
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits

  • Experience working with security protection
  • Experience directing information security work, e.g., through the management of information systems
  • Experience working with the ISO 27000 series, NIST SP 800 series, or corresponding standards
  • Experience handling cases at a government agency, e.g., complex investigation cases
  • Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISO, or CISM
  • Previous service in the Swedish Armed Forces

Other

Work location: Stockholm, on-site with limited possibility to work from home.

Employment type: Permanent, starting with a six-month probationary period.

Travel: Occurs nationally and internationally with varying lengths.

Start date: By agreement.

Employment level: 100%, full-time.

Qualifications must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, as well as work or selection tests. The position is open to both civilian and military personnel. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
