Economic Crime Specialist at Bolagsverket

The purpose of Bolagsverket's (the Swedish Companies Registration Office) operations is to provide the prerequisites for a stable and well-functioning business life. By registering and providing current and correct company information, we contribute to increased transparency and security for society's actors. Here, you will have the opportunity, together with other authorities and societal actors, to support crime prevention with knowledge and strategies. Our crime prevention department is in a buildup phase where you will have the opportunity to help shape structures, working methods, and roles in important and exciting development work.

Your Responsibilities

You will belong to the unit responsible for analysis and collaboration within Bolagsverket's crime prevention work at a strategic and tactical level. The unit drives and participates in authority-common assignments, government assignments, and internal development initiatives to strengthen the authority's crime prevention capacity.

As an Economic Crime Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with other authorities to develop common methods, working practices, and rule application within the crime prevention area.
  • Participate in and lead external collaboration assignments together with authorities and other actors.
  • Participate in and drive government assignments assigned to Bolagsverket, as well as contribute to government assignments led by other authorities.
  • Participate in and coordinate internal assignments to develop Bolagsverket's crime prevention work, monitor status, and drive the work forward together with other units and departments.
  • Work with business development through investigations and analyses that strengthen Bolagsverket's work against economic crime.

You will become part of a group with different specialist competencies where ideas and experiences are shared. You will have the opportunity to contribute, together with engaged colleagues, to preventing and hindering economic crime while having good opportunities for personal development.

Qualifications

In this role, you must also have:

  • An academic degree in law, economics, or another area relevant to the position.
  • Experience in investigation and/or intelligence work within economic crime.
  • Experience in mapping economic and financial activities.
  • Experience in analyzing, structuring, and compiling large amounts of information.
  • Experience in external collaboration with authorities, organizations, and business life.
  • Experience in systematic risk work.
  • Experience in leading assignments or projects.

You must also have good knowledge of Swedish and English and the ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and in a target-group-adapted manner, both orally and in writing, as well as hold Swedish citizenship.

We consider it meritorious if you additionally have experience with:

  • Working according to changed legal requirements and legal assessments.
  • Agile working methods.

Employment Information

Employment Type: Permanent position.
Location: Sundsvall or Stockholm, but you are required to work regularly at our office in Sundsvall.
Start Date: According to agreement.
