Sweden's most beautiful workplace is looking for an HR Specialist in Employment Law and Collective Agreements based in Norrköping or Gothenburg

We are now seeking an HR Specialist with a focus on employment law and collective agreements for our HR Department, where expertise in employment law, collective agreements, and HR is consolidated to provide coordinated and professional support to the entire organization. The HR Department's mission is to contribute to making the Swedish Transport Administration (Sjöfartsverket) an attractive employer with a strong employer brand and efficient operations. The department consists of several competencies that work together to support managers and leadership throughout the organization. We are currently in a development phase where we are reviewing and further developing our collective agreements – a task where you as an employment law and agreement specialist will play a key role.

Responsibilities

As an HR Specialist with a focus on employment law and collective agreements, you will provide expert support in matters concerning agreements and employment law. You will work in close collaboration with both HR colleagues and managers throughout the organization, and will be a vital part of the HR Department's combined expertise in employment law and negotiations. In this role, you will conduct and lead negotiations, and you will also work on the analysis and development of collective agreements. Your responsibilities also include training in both employment law and collective agreement matters, as well as supporting managers with scheduling based on current collective agreements.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic education in employment law or HR, or alternatively another academic education combined with current work experience that we assess as equivalent
  • several years of relevant experience working with collective agreements, for example as an HR specialist, advisor, negotiator, union representative, or other specialist in employment law and collective agreements
  • been involved in the work of producing business analyses and decision-making materials
  • good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

The following qualifications are meritorious:

  • experience working with agreements within shipping and/or operational 24/7 activities
  • experience from simulating and calculating the impact of different agreement proposals

How and when?

This recruitment is for a permanent position expected to be filled as soon as possible. Interviews will be held in weeks 35-36.

The Swedish Transport Administration may apply a six-month probationary period.

The position may involve emergency deployment at the Swedish Transport Administration.

Individual salary setting applies for this position.

The position may require Swedish citizenship. Security clearance with background check may be conducted before an employment offer is made.
