What does an information and data quality expert do here?
Your task is to identify and implement the measures required to improve information quality in the CUD, together with your colleagues and sometimes independently. This means ensuring that the registrations in the database reflect the core of decisions made, the development of events in our cases, and make it possible to present this statistically.
This means you will work with various tasks:
- Lead and carry out large-scale corrections of incorrect information.
- Analyze root causes of error sources and propose measures for other parts of the agency.
- Participate in the development work of the Digitalization and Development Department (DUA) from an information quality perspective.
- Identify and help create information sets when other parts of the agency are working on corrections.
- Work on quality-assuring data sets when there is a need from other parts of DUA.
- Perform corrections in complex cases.
- Contribute your expertise regarding information quality issues to various parts of the operations.
Who are you?
You are a good representative of the Swedish Migration Agency and DUA. You have a respectful and non-hierarchical attitude and approach, both internally and externally. The role places high demands on your analytical ability and your ability to see and structure complex contexts.
You plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently in an effective manner, setting and maintaining timeframes. You are meticulous, well aware of goals and quality, and place great importance on meeting these requirements. You actively participate in our improvement work and show engagement and flexibility in your assignment and tasks.
You have good cooperation skills and value working in an environment where we work together to perform our tasks and assignments. An important trait is the willingness and ability to share your competence.
The successful candidate has:
- An academic education (at least 120 credits) in a relevant field or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.
- Current experience in administrative legal case handling.
- Experience in troubleshooting registrations within case processing.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of the connections between the Swedish Migration Agency's case handling and how this is expressed in the form of data/information in the Central Database of Foreigners.
- Experience and interest in training operations within the area.
- Experience in identifying and formulating development needs within public operations.
- Long-term experience of the Swedish Migration Agency's case handling.
- In-depth knowledge of registrations within one or more of the following areas:
