Your role with us

Job and Competence Center is a labor market unit within Kristianstad Municipality. We work with work training and motivational activities to give citizens the prerequisites to approach work or education. We are a developing operation where we work together to help more people achieve self-sufficiency.

We are now looking for you who want to become part of our operation. As an employment consultant, you work closely with individuals by coaching, supporting, and motivating participants towards work or studies. You will create implementation plans, plan, and conduct group activities. You work continuously and systematically with follow-ups and documentation. The position involves planning and carrying out your work independently, while also collaborating with others internally and externally.

Who are we looking for?

You who apply have a university education of at least 120 credits / 180 ECTS within the behavioral science field or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We want you to have several years of experience working with adults in change processes. If you have experience planning and conducting group activities, this is an advantage, and it is also a plus if you have training in MI – Motivational Interviewing.

As a person, you easily create relationships both internally and externally. We want you to be unpretentious with a respectful attitude, but also that you have patience and tolerance for people's differences. You have a flexible and solution-oriented approach in your work.

When a candidate is offered employment, the person who in their work directly and regularly comes into contact with minors must present an extract from the police criminal record register according to the provisions in 2013:852 Social Services Act.
