Economic Manager at Rosengren & Nilsson Group – Full Responsibility for Finance & HR Administration

About the Role
As the Economic Manager, you are responsible for the ongoing finance function and ensure correct processes for bookkeeping, reporting, annual accounts, budgeting, and liquidity. You also play a central role in HR administration and regulatory reporting.
The role is operational ("hands-on") but offers significant scope to improve working methods, follow-up procedures, and structure.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Ongoing bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and accruals
- Customer invoicing and handling of customer accounts/receivables and reminders
- Supplier invoices and supplier accounts/payables, payment routines
- VAT, taxes, and employer declarations
- Monthly and annual closing, and preparation of materials for auditors/accounting firms
- Budgeting, forecasting, follow-up, analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Liquidity planning and cash flow monitoring
- Development of internal routines, approval workflows, and internal controls
- System responsibility/optimization of financial systems and reporting
HR & Administration
- Payroll administration/payroll data and work within payroll software
- Support in personnel matters, rules/routines, and administration related to staff
- Employment contracts and related documentation
- Contact and reporting related to Collectum/Fora, as well as handling sickness/injury cases with relevant authorities
- Contact with trade unions when necessary (e.g., IF Metall)
Authorities & Reporting
- Monthly reporting and periodic summaries
- Handling of refunds (e.g., excise duties/industrial electricity where applicable)
Internal & External Contact
- Serve as a clear contact point internally and externally (phone/email)
- Support with price and calculation-related questions when needed
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in broad financial work (ongoing bookkeeping → closing, reporting, VAT/taxes)
- Is structured, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating order and improving routines
- Is self-reliant and confident in prioritizing in a daily routine with many contact areas
- Communicates clearly in Swedish (and preferably English to some extent)
- Enjoys supporting managers and operations with numbers, follow-ups, and materials
Merits
- Experience in payroll administration and personnel reporting
- Experience from manufacturing/industry or project-based environments
- Experience working closely with management and driving improvements in processes and systems
