The National Cyber Security Centre, NCSC, is now looking for a case officer in our cyber security advisory team, with the task of participating in building up the centre's operations at FRA. Your assignment

As a case officer in the cyber security advisory team, you will become part of NCSC and the office for capability development, partnerships, and systematic cyber security. Here, we work to strengthen and coordinate society's cyber security through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and support to various actors. The office is a national meeting place and contact point for collaboration and information exchange, and is responsible for strategic analysis, regulatory and governance work, support, competence development, exercises, as well as national, EU, and international collaboration. The office also has a supporting role in cyber crisis management.

In this assignment, the advisory role is central, where you support organizations – primarily within critical societal functions – in carrying out preventive and systematic cyber security work based on NCSC support materials. You handle and respond to incoming cases and emails in functional mailboxes, book and conduct advisory meetings via video conference, follow up on cases, compile statistics, and ensure that case registration is done according to current procedures. At the same time, you draw on experiences from the advisory work and actively contribute to developing support materials, working methods, and processes.

To succeed in the role, you thrive with many contact surfaces and feel confident navigating between different types of organizations. You quickly understand the recipient's needs and adapt your support based on the person's prior knowledge. With a pedagogical and target-group-adapted approach, you make complex questions understandable and give advice that makes a difference.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree, for example as a systems scientist, engineer, or political scientist, and at least 15 ECTS credits in cyber security, information security, IT security, OT security, or risk management
• Good knowledge of Office 365
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, as well as reading and listening comprehension

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• More than 15 ECTS credits in relevant areas such as cyber security, information security, IT security, OT security, or risk management.
• No work experience in the field is required, but we would appreciate if you have previous work experience in some form.
• Experience from customer service or other service professions
• Experience of practical or strategic work with cyber security, including information security, IT security, OT security, or risk management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics

The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. New premises are to be ready in Bergshamra within a few years. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a approved security clearance with background check. The security clearance will be conducted in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be mobilized in wartime.
