About the role

Do you also want to work in a developing environment where you become a vital link in a socially critical operation? Society's increasing need for electricity, climate change, and an increased security political threat landscape mean that the power supply needs to increase its efforts to handle serious disruptions and threats. We are now looking for Readiness Specialists with a focus on crisis management and environmental monitoring.

Together with the team leader, you will develop and manage Svenska Kraftnät's Civil Servant in Readiness (TiB) function and crisis management organization, and join our environmental monitoring function. The environmental monitoring function is to support the TiB in the event of incidents. The position is new, and shaping the role is part of the assignment.

You will participate in Svenska Kraftnät's work with total defense planning and war organization. The work involves collaboration with external actors such as electricity grid companies and authorities.

You will be part of Svenska Kraftnät's crisis organization in the event of societal disruptions. You will represent Svenska Kraftnät in various types of networks for collaboration with other actors. You may also be required to support other functions within the unit.

  • You will primarily work with environmental monitoring, analysis, and situation assessment.
  • You will also work on strengthening Svenska Kraftnät's and the electricity supply's readiness for crises, heightened readiness, and war.
  • You will independently and together with others drive development work within the areas of crisis preparedness and civil defense.

The Readiness Unit coordinates, develops steering documents, supports, and follows up on Svenska Kraftnät's internal work with crisis preparedness, continuity, crisis management, as well as the company's work with total defense within electricity supply. We are approximately 14 employees.

Work with risk and vulnerability analysis as well as climate and vulnerability analysis also lies with this unit.
