The Role as Support Assistant with Us

As a support assistant at Kolla Group Housing, you support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is for them to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

You provide support in daily life, for example with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and leisure activities. You encourage and motivate the tenants to use their own abilities and participate in their daily lives.

You work together with colleagues to plan and follow up on the support. The job also includes documentation and casework.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your interactions and sensitive to your surroundings. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility, drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work in an efficient manner. You see possibilities in changes, take initiative, and propose new approaches to work-related issues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a support assistant education or equivalent education relevant to the target group.

It is an advantage if:

  • you have experience working with the target group.

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and on-call, as well as every other weekend. Resource time at other units may occur.

Within the Department for Individual & Family Care, all employees within Housing with Specialized Service and Support at Home are employed full-time but have the opportunity to reduce their working hours to the desired degree based on operational needs.

Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.
