We are Varberg Municipality, the employer who sees the potential in you. Here, you can make a difference, both for others and for yourself. We are driven by the idea of simplifying people's daily lives and realizing their dreams. We achieve this through knowledge, innovative courage, and a forward-looking spirit. Welcome to contribute to our vision of becoming the creative hub of the west coast.

The Social Services Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer interventions grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing older adults with a secure and meaningful daily life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

With us, you will meet every individual with respect and professionalism. We collaborate across professional boundaries – both within our own administration, with other parts of the municipality, and with external actors. To ensure quality and development, we actively work with follow-up, improvement efforts, and digitalization.

Here, you make a real difference – every day.
