Your Responsibilities

Are you interested in an exciting temporary position as an Activity Leader for seniors?

As an Activity Leader, we work preventively to promote the well-being of our clients. We achieve this by offering social and physical activities, intellectual stimulation, culture, and crafts. We constantly strive to develop our activities and working methods. We are responsible for identifying, collaborating, planning, and implementing activities based on the needs and wishes of our clients.

The Activity Leaders work actively together with volunteers at our meeting places throughout Halmstad, based out of Alla hjärtans hus (All Hearts House).

The temporary position is scheduled for weekdays (Monday–Friday) and runs until December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree in health. Experience working with the elderly/seniors is an advantage.

You are social and love working with people. You always put the client at the center and work according to the Home Care Administration's core values: trust, respect, and humility.

You are driven, service-oriented, and responsible, and you can plan and carry out both social and physical activities. As an Activity Leader, you need to be able to take initiative, be self-reliant, and feel comfortable leading in social contexts.

Together, we have good cooperation skills, both among colleagues in the work group and with our clients, volunteers, and other partners.

A driver's license for a passenger car with a manual transmission is required.

The recruitment process will be ongoing, which means that selection and interviews will also take place while the advertisement is published.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

The extract is sent to your mailbox and must be taken in an unopened envelope and presented in connection with the recruitment. You also have the option to receive the extract via your digital mailbox. (The police only sends empty extracts digitally. If the extract contains information, the police sends it by regular mail.)
