As a temporary Social Secretary at the Adult Unit in Halmstad Municipality, you will become an important part of the work for the well-being and security of the inhabitants. What you will do

In the role of Social Secretary at the Adult Unit, you work with people who have mental disabilities and harmful use/addiction issues, often with co-morbidity. You investigate needs, make decisions on interventions, and follow up cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Law of Care of Abusers (LVM). The work is varied and involves both authority exercise and close contact with people in different life situations.

You will among other things:

• Investigate and make decisions on interventions based on the individual's needs.
• Have contact with clients, relatives, and collaboration partners.
• Document and process cases in our digital systems.
• Work preventively and contribute to the development of the operations.

Your experience

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work or other equivalent education with social law as a requirement.
• Experience working with the target group.
• Good ability to work independently and in a team.
• Category B driver's license.

Meritorious:

• Experience in investigating and making decisions on interventions.
• Experience in preventive work.
• Experience handling multiple individual cases simultaneously.
