Welcome to the Large Projects region – where you take on our largest, most complex, and socially critical infrastructure projects. Together, we build bridges, tunnels, ports, roads, and railways that change how people move and live. Here, you are part of the process when visions become reality and ideas become structures that will last for generations after us.

We are now looking for an experienced and responsible Electrical Manager with primary responsibility for construction power and temporary electrical installations within our construction projects in the Stockholm area. Examples of some of our most complex projects include Slussen, Forsmark, SVK in Västerås, and the expansion of the metro in Nacka.

Overall responsibility for construction power in our infrastructure projects

As an Electrical Manager responsible for construction power, you will play a central and important role in our complex infrastructure projects. You have overall responsibility for the entire chain, from early design and establishment of construction power to operation and decommissioning.

In close collaboration with project management, production, and external suppliers, you plan and coordinate capacity and solutions to ensure that the right amount of electricity is available on site at the right time. In many projects, existing power supply is lacking, which means you are responsible for planning temporary solutions, such as high-voltage units, already during the bidding and calculation phase.

An equally important part of the role is to ensure that our temporary electrical installations always comply with current laws, regulations, and standards. You are responsible for electrical safety, self-control programs, and documentation, and act as the electrical safety officer in the projects. With your expertise, you are a natural support for the project organization in both technical, regulatory, and safety-related matters, from startup to implementation.

As part of the operations, we also have a well-equipped machinery department where we service and repair our own equipment, such as transformers, electrical centers, and other construction machinery, with access to everything needed within the electrical field.

The role has overarching leadership responsibility, where you ensure that work is carried out according to plan through follow-up and coordination of foremen, electricians, and hired personnel. The daily, operational leadership in the projects is performed by the foremen at each respective project.

You contribute to bidding work related to construction power and electricity-related costs, participate in purchasing, and have ongoing contact with the client's representatives regarding permit issues and technical solutions.

Secure leadership in complex project environments

We are looking for someone who is confident in taking responsibility and working independently, while also thriving in collaboration with others. You have the ability to combine operational presence in projects with a strategic holistic perspective and can handle both practical and administrative parts of the business in a structured manner. With clear and trust-inspiring leadership, you create order, routines, and clarity in a project-intensive environment.

You are solution-oriented, decisive, and have a high level of safety awareness that permeates your way of working. Driving safety and quality issues in an engaging manner is natural for you, as is taking commercial and cost-conscious responsibility. You are good at building relationships, communicate clearly, and can handle several parallel projects without losing sight of the big picture.

Requirements for the position:

  • A authorization from the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority (Elsäkerhetsverket)
  • At least ten years of experience in electrical installation work within low- and high voltage
  • Documented experience in leading teams
  • Good knowledge of electrical safety legislation and self-control programs
  • Upper secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent work experience
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD, El-Vis, and Microsoft Office
  • Category B driver's license

Merits:

  • Experience from larger construction or infrastructure projects
  • Experience with temporary electrical installations in complex project environments
  • Knowledge in backup power, energy supply, and metering
  • Experience in procurement and contract law
