We are currently looking for an experienced and skilled estimator in the civil engineering and construction sector for a permanent position with one of our most popular clients in Stockholm.

We are in a phase of continued expansion and are now looking for an estimator for our headquarters in Stockholm. We are one of the leading players in civil engineering, maintenance, and detailed planning of outdoor environments in Stockholm.

Since our founding in 1973, we have been driven by the need to meet the demand for qualified civil works. We have approximately 50 employees and our headquarters are located in Solna.

About the Role

As an estimator, you will support the project group and production with tasks such as costing, bidding, and planning.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative work.
• Prepare bid calculations and prepare bid documents.
• Prepare side bids and alternative calculations.
• Prepare and finalize contract documents.
• Prepare materials and propose schedules.
• Conduct request for quotations (RFQs).
• Evaluate quotations.
• Responsible for system management.

Qualifications

• At least post-secondary education in building technology (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of contract law.
• Experience with bidding processes.
• Knowledge of scheduling.
• Experience with contract management.
• Knowledge of purchasing.
• Several years of experience working as an estimator in the construction/civil engineering sector.
• Desirable previous experience from the civil engineering industry.
• Desirable good knowledge of Bluebeam, Map, and Excel.
• You should have knowledge of construction costing software.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We would also appreciate if you have experience with larger business systems and scheduling programs.
