Installation Manager – Technical Expert in HVAC, Electrical, and Control Systems

Here you will work in a broad and varied role where you are the company's expert in HVAC, electrical, and control systems. At Signalisten, you have the opportunity to work closely with both projects, property management, and operations in an organization where your skills make a real difference. Here you become a key person in the work of developing sustainable and efficient technical solutions from early stages to completed buildings.

About the role

As Installation Manager, you have a central and advisory role in the organization. You are responsible for design instructions within HVAC, electrical, and control installations and ensure that these are updated according to current authority and industry requirements.

You participate in construction projects within new production, renewal, and major reconstructions – from early stages through design and production to final inspection. The role involves close collaboration with the project department where you contribute your installation knowledge, participate in reviews, and help make decisions regarding technical solutions. You also participate in the projects that the property management department itself drives.

You belong to the operations unit and together with your colleagues, who also assist you in construction projects, you are responsible for managing and developing Signalisten's technical installations with a focus on long-term sustainability.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for and developing design instructions within the installation area.
• Act as a technical expert during feasibility studies, design, and implementation.
• Participate in reviews, testing, and commissioning of projects.
• Actively participate in the operations unit's development work.

Who you are

We are looking for you who are self-initiating, structured, and responsible with strong technical competence. You have the ability to handle multiple projects or assignments in parallel and make well-considered prioritizations. With your holistic view, you always act based on the best interests of the business and contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and external parties.

We are looking for you who have:

• University or University College degree in HVAC or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a designer or equivalent within HVAC.
• Good knowledge of BBR, AMA HVAC & Cooling, and AMA Electrical.
• Basic knowledge of contract law and energy work.
• Category B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in designing multi-family housing.
• Experience in public operations and the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
• Knowledge of Miljöbyggnad (SGBC).

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
