Job Description

We continue to grow and are now seeking railway expertise for our offices across the country. Whether you are a specialist, project manager, consultant, or technician, we want to connect with you if you want to help develop the railways of the future together with us. We work with all stages of railway projects, from early investigations to production. Our work includes design, construction, project management, inspection, and construction supervision. We are looking broadly for designers, constructors, inspection, and contracting expertise within the entire BEST+MK (civil, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing) as well as high voltage power, ready to take on all exciting assignments.

AFRY's railway organization is national, with offices from Luleå to Malmö. Through close collaboration between sections/offices and technical areas, we form a strong whole. Therefore, we can also offer flexible placement locations based on your needs and preferences. We work with investigations, concept and feasibility studies, design of construction documents and asset data, review, and inspection. Our assignments are often complex, and we work in cross-disciplinary teams with some of AFRY's other 18,000 experts – we love it because it is both fun and developmental.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least 3 years of experience in the railway industry within one of the technical areas: track, overhead line, low voltage, signaling, telecommunications, ducting, earthworks, or high voltage power. Alternatively, you have experience working as a project or program manager within railway projects. You likely hold a university degree, but you may also have acquired equivalent knowledge in other ways.

This role may involve security clearance placement. Security clearance with background check will be conducted prior to security-cleared assignments.
