Together with other youth workers, you organize, lead, and plan open youth club activities. Your work is characterized by a holistic approach, inclusion, and responsibility. You are a good adult role model who easily builds relationships and can create positive dialogue with young people. The open youth club activity is a drug-free environment where young people feel safe, significant, and have a meaningful way to spend their free time.

Gunnebo Youth Club primarily targets young people aged 10–19, and the activity aims to promote young people's health, drive, and interests in a setting where they feel safe, significant, and have meaningful leisure activities.

The work also involves collaboration with others who work for and with young people, such as sports clubs and associations.

Working hours are primarily during the day and evening.

We are looking for you who are trained as a youth worker or have other education that the employer deems suitable. You have previous experience of similar tasks with children and young people.

A Category B driver's license is required for the position.

You are open, social, and responsible, and serve as a good role model for young people. As a person, you are confident in yourself and can adapt your behavior to the situation you are in. You are a lively person with many fun ideas. You are skilled at handling social media, and above all, you have the desire to be there for the young people in Västervik Municipality. You will mentor and coach young people, but also be responsible for organizing and leading your own activities.

The work therefore requires that you have a high degree of personal maturity, can drive your work forward, and have a good ability to collaborate with others. We also value the ability to be flexible, as you may need to adapt quickly to changed circumstances.
