We are now looking for a Team Leader for Foundation Accounting in Gothenburg – a role where you get to combine leadership, business development, and qualified accounting work in a growing business.

Your responsibilities:
  • Be a leader who builds trust, inspires, develops, and coaches employees.

  • Ensure high quality, efficiency, and delivery capability within the accounting processes.

  • Contribute operationally with some accounting work, closing of accounts, and annual reports.

  • Develop and streamline ways of working, processes, and tools to meet increased customer volumes.

  • Define clear priorities, goals, and responsibilities for the team.

  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and good accounting practice.

  • Collaborate with Private Banking, foundation specialists, and other internal stakeholders to develop the business.

  • Ensure a sustainable work climate where employees are given the opportunity to grow and perform long-term.

  • Build an inclusive team with a high level of engagement, collaboration, and customer focus.

  • Be a clear culture carrier who lives our values – simple, open, and considerate.

For this role, you need:
  • A bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent relevant education.

  • Documented experience in qualified accounting work.

  • Good knowledge of closing of accounts, annual reports, and accounting processes.

  • Experience in leading, coaching, or developing people is an advantage.

  • Experience in business development and change management is an advantage.

  • Experience from banking, auditing, foundation activities, or accounting firms is an advantage.

  • Ability to create results through others and develop the team's performance and competence.

  • A coaching, clear, and inclusive leadership style.

  • High initiative and a strong interest in developing business and ways of working.

  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Very good communication skills in Swedish, both oral and written.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational delivery.

  • Motivation to grow together with the business and contribute to its long-term development.

Wealth Management. Foundation Accounting is a specialist function within Wealth Management responsible for qualified accounting services to foundations. We are an engaged team with high competence and strong customer focus facing an exciting growth journey. Demand for our services is increasing, and we work closely with Private Banking and our foundation specialists to further develop the business.

As Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of 6 people in Gothenburg and Lund while also contributing operationally to the business. You will join an environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development are high on the agenda.
