Do you want to sell a product that almost all workplaces can relate to and that creates well-being and value for everyone in the office? We are now looking for you who like to create deals from scratch – find the customers, book the meetings, go out, show the value and get the sign.
About the role
This is a role for you who really enjoys sales. Not just customer relations and nice words, but the actual job: activity, follow-up, energy, endurance and the desire to win deals.
Gothenburg is more or less an untapped market for us at Fruktdealen. There are many companies here, great potential and a concrete product.
This is a pure new business role where your task is to build up our local business in Gothenburg. You do not take over an existing customer base and you will not lean on a large influx of warm leads. Here it is about creating the opportunities yourself.
You will identify new companies, find the right contact person, book meetings, go out with sample boxes, leave quotes and follow up until the deal is closed.
We sell recurring deliveries of fruit, milk, coffee, breakfast and other office-related solutions to companies. Customers can range from smaller owner-led companies to larger offices, and the decision-maker can be an Office Manager, receptionist, HR, Facility Manager, CEO or owner.
The product is easy to understand, but the role requires activity, courage and endurance. Fruit at work is important to many employees, but it is not always at the top of the decision-maker's list. Therefore, you need to be able to create interest, find the customer's pain points and show why Fruktdealen is a better alternative.
In the role you will among other things:
- find new potential customers in the Gothenburg area
- prospect via CRM data, own observations, tips, networking and local knowledge
- call, book meetings and make spontaneous visits when it is the right way in
- go out with sample boxes and show Fruktdealen's offer on site
- understand the customer's current solution and find relevant areas for improvement
- create and send high-quality quotes
- follow up on business opportunities in CRM
- build up a local customer base from scratch
The focus is on Gothenburg with suburban municipalities, roughly Kungsbacka to Kungälv. You operate from our newly opened office in Marieholm, where you sit close to the regional manager and local operations and report to CEO and co-owner Mikael Engqvist.
There is a lot of freedom here, but also clear expectations. Activity needs to happen every week. The right person will quickly be able to get out to meetings, send out quotes, build a pipeline and make deals.
Your profile
We are looking for you with a natural pace in your body. You are socially secure, outgoing and not afraid to make contact. You do not need to have a long academic background or a perfect CV. What is important is how you approach the job and what energy you step in with.
You love the feeling of getting a yes – a sign! You like to create business, build a pipeline and see direct results of your own effort. You also understand that sales is not always about pushing harder, but about listening, being smart, finding the right angle and following up.
This could suit you who today work, or have previously worked, as for example meeting booker, telemarketer, field sales, DTH sales, district sales or in another role where you are used to high activity, clear goals and many nos on the way to a yes.
To thrive and succeed we believe that you:
- have experience of sales, meeting booking or other activity-driven customer processing
- are used to contacting new customers
- enjoy creating your own pipeline
- have high energy and like a straight, concrete way of working
- dare to be creative in your prospecting
- are enduring when the deal requires several attempts
- are receptive and can adapt your sales approach to the customer
- have a B driving license
- can work on site in Gothenburg and be out with customers in the region
This is not the right role for you who want ready-made leads or an account management sales role. It is the right role for you who think: “Give me the market, and I will solve the rest.”
