About the role

Are you an experienced buyer with a passion for strategic procurement and a strong ability to drive business forward? We are now looking for an independent and business-driven buyer specializing in indirect procurement, responsible for purchasing IT software and HR services within a global organization. In this role, you will work in an international environment where you lead tenders, negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives while collaborating closely with both local and global stakeholders. Here you will have the opportunity to influence, develop supplier relationships, and contribute to continuous improvements within the procurement function.

The position is a full-time consultancy assignment starting October 1, 2026, lasting approximately 10 months, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the office in Mölndal with the option to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for indirect procurement of IT software and HR services in Europe.
  • Lead and conduct negotiations with suppliers and manage the supplier base within the area of responsibility.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and manage RFQ processes in Ariba.
  • Analyze spend and price data to identify business opportunities and negotiation leverage.
  • Collaborate with local, operational, and global procurement teams to implement strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate purchases and optimize contracts and supplier volumes.
  • Contribute to improvements in processes, systems, and working methods within the procurement function.

About you

We are looking for you who are driven and responsible with a strong business focus. You thrive working independently, take initiative, and have a natural ability to prioritize and drive work forward. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a knack for building good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you are communicative, structured, and motivated by finding effective solutions that create value for the business.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in indirect procurement.
  • Experience in procurement of IT software and/or HR services.
  • Documented experience in tenders, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Experience in cost analysis and working with cost-saving initiatives.
  • Experience with procurement systems, preferably SAP Ariba.
  • Comfortable working in an international environment.
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Post-secondary education in procurement, economics, logistics, supply chain, or another relevant field.
