About the job
Do you want to work with qualified analysis, investigation, and development in a complex and socially important operation?
We are now looking for an Investigator (Utredare) to the Business Development unit within the Quality & Development department at the Preschool and Primary School Administration. The unit supports, coordinates, and drives the development of working methods, governance, and quality within preschools and primary schools.
Responsibilities
As an Investigator, you work with qualified investigations, analyses, and decision-support materials of significance for the principal's responsibility and quality development.
You will:
- conduct investigations and analyses on behalf of the administrative management
- produce decision-support materials, official memos, and statements
- support operations and management in complex cases
- contribute to the development of working methods, routines, and steering documents
- link investigative work with systematic quality work
The work spans both strategic and operationally close issues and takes place in close collaboration with managers and operations.
Who are we looking for?
- Analytical – you must be able to handle large amounts of information, see connections, and draw well-founded conclusions.
- Structured – you must possess the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage complex processes. You must be able to work methodically and ensure high quality even when several assignments are ongoing simultaneously.
- Good writer – you must be able to write clearly, correctly, and pedagogically to translate complex issues into clear decision-support materials, reports, and statements.
- Independent – you must be able to take responsibility for your processes, drive the work forward, and self-identify what needs further investigation.
- Pedagogical – you must be skilled at explaining consequences, alternatives, and regulations so that the recipient understands, regardless of whether the recipient is a manager, politician, or colleague.
- Good judgment – as an investigator, you handle sensitive issues with potentially significant impact on individuals, economy, and operations. Good judgment and integrity are therefore important qualities for you.
Since the role involves a lot of interaction with other functions within the operation, it is also important that you are team-oriented and have an easy time building trust and relationships. Personal qualities will be given great weight in the recruitment process.
Qualifications
- Relevant university education of at least 180 credits in fields such as political science, public administration, law, pedagogy, social sciences, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Experience in independently producing decision-support materials, reports, or other qualified written documents.
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
Merits for the position include:
- Experience from working in public operations.
- Experience in qualified investigative, analytical, or developmental work.
- Good ability to analyze, structure, and compile complex information.
- Professional experience from preschool or school operations.
- Deeper knowledge of the Education Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Local Government Act.
