About the assignment

We are looking for a full-time budget and debt advisor for our client in Gothenburg for a consultancy assignment via Bemannia, starting August 24th until the turn of the year. In this role, we value good communication and pedagogical skills, problem-solving abilities, as well as empathy and sensitivity. This is because the work involves close contact with people in vulnerable situations.

Your responsibilities

The tasks will primarily involve investigative and/or coordinating work. You will also carry out and follow up on activities, and provide advice on household budgets and everyday economics.

The responsibilities include:

• Supporting individuals with debts in their contacts with creditors and authorities.
• Guiding clients through the debt adjustment process at the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden).
• Working preventively to help people avoid financial problems.
• Working independently based on guidelines and practice.
• Drafting proposals, such as decision support documents.
• Planning and following up on cases.
• Investigating, reviewing, and processing cases, as well as making decisions in simpler cases.
• Reporting investigation results and providing recommendations for decisions.
• Analyzing and evaluating tasks and projects.

Your qualifications

• Economic competence (knowledge of personal finance, debt adjustment, and legal aspects of debt).
• University degree or equivalent education in the relevant field.
• At least one (1) year of work experience in a similar role.
• Good proficiency in MS Office or equivalent.
