About the workplace Care and Elderly Care

Gullspång Municipality has all the advantages of a small municipality, with closeness between people and short decision-making paths. WORK ASSIGNMENTS

Assistant nurses with combined placement at our special housing facilities at Amnegården, Gullspång.

The work tasks include meeting the individual's needs for care and service in their home. Performing medical interventions on delegation from a nurse. As an employee, you collaborate with residents, colleagues, nurses, and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for trained assistant nurses where a Higher Vocational Education (YH) in dementia and/or welfare technology is meritorious, with an interest in working with development and change. Great emphasis is placed on good flexibility and teamwork skills, as work takes place on several wards (Fågelön, Fällholmen, and Storön). Employees need to be able to adapt to different work groups and contribute to good cooperation between the wards.

On July 1 this year, the language requirement for personnel in elderly care comes into force. The requirement is that personnel must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing to be able to provide safe and good care. In addition, good computer skills are required. It is important that applicants have a positive view of humanity, a strong commitment, a sense of responsibility, and put the individual needs of the elderly in focus. We are looking for those who believe in the equal value and rights of all people.

It is meritorious if applicants have experience with the tool Lifecare for documentation.

Generally, one works for cohesion in work groups, is a positive colleague, sees failures as something to learn from, and creates space for dialogue.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability where treatment, attitude, and teamwork skills are important.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

  • Salary form: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent employment.
  • Duration: Permanent, start: As soon as possible or by agreement.
  • Working hours: Schedule. The working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts on a rolling 5-week schedule. Both positions involve working 3 out of 5 weekends with many days off on weekdays. There are 8-20 work shifts in both positions.
