Hagagården Elderly Care Facility is located in the Noltorp district in central Alingsås and consists of two departments focusing on dementia care and two departments specializing in group physiotherapy. At the facility, we value teamwork, and as an assistant nurse, you will collaborate closely with the unit manager, nurse, administrator, coordinator, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. In total, there are approximately 45 employees at the facility.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse, you work independently and in a team with colleagues to achieve the organization's goals. We work from a salutogenic perspective, starting from each user's resources and abilities. At Hagagården, we have recently started working with the differentiation of tasks based on competence and education. You will work in a group consisting of assistants, care assistants, assistant nurses, and specialist assistant nurses, where collaboration is central.

Your tasks vary depending on the user's needs and include, among other things, health and medical care tasks according to delegation, personal care, service measures, and contact with relatives. You document according to current legislation in our digital systems and create and follow up on implementation plans. You are a key person in the work regarding the user and contribute to security, participation, and a meaningful daily life.

In 2026, we have initiated a project to develop good and safe care and support. The work will involve each assistant nurse being responsible for a small number of users throughout the entire work shift.

The role requires flexibility as you work on all four departments, based on the operational needs.

The position involves scheduled working hours, with work during the day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• Trained as an assistant nurse with a protected professional title
• Well-versed in digital platforms, following the workplace's action plans, policies, and guidelines, as well as the Social Services Act paragraph SoL §1:1

Previous experience within elderly care is meritorious.

You have the ability to share information and ideas both orally and in writing, and communicate clearly. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.

To thrive in the role, you are secure and work responsibly and independently with a clear focus on the user. You act based on made decisions and guidelines and actively contribute to their follow-up and development. You have a good attitude and collaborate well. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
