The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and health and medical care at home, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

The home care and health and medical care at home services in Ulricehamn Municipality are responsible for interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse or care aide at Parkgården Home Care, you work together with colleagues and other professions within elderly care to provide high-quality care and support. Your task is to perform care work based on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The work is varied and includes, among other things, providing personal care, performing delegated health and medical care tasks, documentation, and helping our care recipients in their homes. You always have the individual's best interests in focus and work to create a safe, active, and meaningful everyday life for those we serve.

We work with fixed care contacts, which means that our assistant nurses have an extended responsibility for a number of care recipients. As a fixed care contact, you are a key person in creating continuity and security, and you contribute to ensuring that each individual receives the support they need.

Qualifications

After a period of strong growth, we are now looking for more staff for our wonderful work group. Do you have a genuine interest in people and want to make a difference in other people's everyday lives? Then you might be the one we are looking for at Parkgården Home Care.

  • We primarily seek you who are trained as an assistant nurse, but this is not a requirement for this position.
  • Experience in care and support work, especially in home care, is meritorious.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Confident in using digital tools in your work.
  • Category B driver's license is required.

We are looking for you who are service-oriented, receptive, and have good empathetic abilities. You contribute to a positive work environment through your engaged attitude and cooperate willingly with colleagues so that our users receive the best possible care and support.

To thrive with us, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to changes in work. You are responsible and solution-focused, and combine the ability to work independently with being a team player. Previous experience from working in home care is meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment Terms

  • Employment type: Permanent employment.
  • Duration: Permanent.
  • Start date: 2026-08-03 or by agreement.

Pilot Project: Structural Schedules

The operations will participate in a pilot project with structural schedules during the coming year. The purpose is to create better recovery, more even workload, and increased foresight in work. The schedule is built with a clear structure that is equal for everyone, which should contribute to increased stability, better work environment, and increased continuity for care recipients. During the pilot period, the schedule is followed up and adjusted continuously based on the operations' needs and employees' experiences.
