We are now looking for a strategic buyer/project manager who wants to strengthen the procurement function and contribute to increased supplier performance, improved cost efficiency, and a robust supply chain. The role is project-oriented and involves close collaboration with suppliers as well as internal functions such as technology, logistics, quality, and operations. You will be a key resource in development projects and work closely with procurement leadership to ensure long-term and business-oriented procurement solutions.

About the Role

As a strategic buyer/project manager, you play a central role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that strengthen the organization's competitiveness. You work both operationally and strategically with suppliers and are responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost optimization, and long-term value creation.

The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You drive development initiatives, lead projects, and serve as a key support for larger supplier-related issues and escalations.

In the role, you will be responsible for, among other things:

• Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned categories and projects.
• Drive supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and increased business value through strategic procurement.
• Handle and support larger supplier-related escalations as well as operational challenges.
• Collaborate closely with technology, quality, logistics, and operations functions to ensure that procurement strategies support business goals.
• Contribute to the development of the supply chain, including logistics flows and supplier collaborations.
• Lead internal and external development projects focused on procurement and supplier development.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a business-minded approach and thrive in a role where you can combine strategic thinking with operational drive. You have strong analytical skills, are accustomed to building trusting relationships, and feel confident leading dialogues and negotiations with suppliers.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in economics, engineering, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant field.
• At least five years of experience in supply chain, strategic procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier development, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented working method.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are a plus.
