About the role
As a Strategic Buyer, you manage the entire procurement chain for complex technical systems. You work closely with project management and production to optimize the supply chain and ensure the highest quality in deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
You are responsible for strategically steering and developing the procurement process, from market analysis and negotiation to long-term supplier follow-up.
- Responsible for procuring complex technical systems and components within your segment.
- Drive and develop long-term relationships with strategically important suppliers.
- Lead and conduct tenders and contract negotiations.
- Ensure delivery capability in line with forecasts and production plans.
- Develop and implement procurement and supplier strategies.
- Analyze the supplier market and evaluate supplier performance.
- Identify and manage supplier and supply risks.
- Collaborate closely with internal functions to meet requirements from production and development.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a relevant university college degree or university education in procurement or a related field.
- Has basic experience working in procurement, operational purchasing, or logistics.
- Has good knowledge of ERP systems.
- Has very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience working in the aviation or defense sector.
