For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer for a position at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities.

This is initially a 12-month consultancy assignment via Unik Resurs with very good prospects for extension.

We apply rolling selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the application deadline.

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

As a Strategic Buyer / Project Manager, you are responsible for developing and ensuring a competitive and sustainable supplier base. You drive strategic purchasing initiatives while leading improvement projects within the supply chain.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies within your area of responsibility.
• Responsible for supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
• Identify cost savings and create long-term business value.
• Handle and drive larger supplier escalations and operational challenges.
• Collaborate closely with the technology, quality, and production organizations to ensure business needs are met.
• Contribute to the development of the entire supply chain, including logistics flows.
• Lead internal and external development projects related to purchasing and supply chain.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in strategic purchasing or supply chain, who thrives in a role that combines business acumen, project management, and relationship building. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a knack for building trust both internally and externally.

We would like you to have:

• An academic degree in engineering, economics, supply chain, or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in strategic purchasing, sourcing, or supplier development.
• Experience in negotiations, contract work, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured working method.
• Experience in leading projects and driving change initiatives.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
