Information about the position

Professionals Nord is recruiting on behalf of ViaCon for a Field Sales Representative in Infrastructure. This is a direct hire position, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, and you will be employed directly by ViaCon.

This recruitment process is managed by Professionals Nord, and ViaCon requests that all questions regarding the position be directed to [email protected].

What we offer:

  • A key role in a strategic initiative where you will help develop the sales of ViaCon's road culverts in southern Sweden.
  • A free and independent role where you plan your days and spend most of your time out with customers.
  • The opportunity to work in a company with its own production, short decision-making paths, and a strong market position.
  • An engaged team with close collaboration and good opportunities for development together with experienced colleagues in Sweden and the rest of the Nordics.

Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Representative in Infrastructure, you are responsible for developing the sales of ViaCon's metal and plastic road culverts. You will primarily work with distributors, maintenance organizations, and forestry companies, focusing on developing existing framework agreements, processing new business opportunities, and creating long-term customer relationships.

The role is field-based and involves approximately three travel days per week, visiting customers in southern Sweden. You will become an important part of ViaCon's continued growth and have great freedom to plan your work. Among other things, you will:

  • Visit distributors, maintenance organizations, forestry companies, and other customers.
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Process and develop existing framework agreements.
  • Follow up on customer needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare quotations and follow the deal through to order.
  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers (KAM), sales colleagues, and back-office to create a smooth business process.

We are looking for you who:

Have several years of experience in field sales and thrive in an independent role where you plan and drive your own work. You gain energy from meeting customers, building long-term relationships, and developing and closing deals in the field. Since the role involves a lot of travel and recurring overnight stays, it is important that you enjoy a traveling job. To succeed in the role, we see that a background in the construction, earthworks, civil engineering, or water/wastewater industry is advantageous, along with a strong business drive and a preference for relationship-building sales.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in field sales in a similar role.
  • Experience from the construction, earthworks, civil engineering, or water/wastewater industry.
  • Good computer skills and experience with CRM and the Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English.
  • Experience in independently planning and structuring your work.

Advantageous qualifications:

  • Experience from the plumbing/HVAC sector.
  • Experience selling to wholesalers.
  • Experience selling to the construction and infrastructure sector.
  • Experience working with distributors, maintenance organizations, or framework agreements.

We believe that your personal qualities are crucial for how well you will fit in at ViaCon. To succeed in the role, we see that you are self-motivated, business-minded, and structured. You are driven by creating growth, enjoy building long-term relationships, and are motivated by meeting customers. Furthermore, you are persistent, meticulous, and thrive in a role where you get to plan and take responsibility for your daily work.
