Your next challenge

As an Economist at the Foundations, you handle all financial tasks, from ongoing bookkeeping including payments to final accounts, annual reports, and tax declarations. You prepare presentation materials and decision support for committee and board meetings, and collect and compile applications for various grants and scholarships. You have great freedom to design routines and working methods and are expected to develop them continuously. The Foundation office has few employees, and for the business to run smoothly, all staff need to have some knowledge of each other's tasks, and you may need to help with other functions if necessary.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a degree in economics with a focus on accounting and several years of experience in relevant tasks. You thrive in an orderly environment where you can influence, and you have the ability to manage your work independently. You enjoy improving and streamlining routines and working methods. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position is located in Sundsvall and is a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension. Start date by agreement.

About the Foundations

The Foundations is the collective name for seven personnel and pension foundations for current and former employees of SCA and Essity. The personnel foundations' operations consist of providing over 100 holiday homes in Sweden and the world for recreational use. We award study and travel scholarships and provide grants for cultural events, specialist care, rehabilitation, and pensioner associations. The pension foundations secure occupational pensions and severance pay. The Foundations are managed from the foundation office in Sundsvall, which has four employees.
