The Team
The regimental staff consists of nine departments, with the Security Department (J2) serving as support to the Commander of the Signals Regiment (LedR) in the areas of security protection and IT/information security. J2 is a team comprising both officers and civilian employees of varying ages and backgrounds.
We are currently seeking an Intelligence Assistant with employment category GSS/K, located at the LedR Security Department (J2) in Enköping.
Main Responsibilities
As an Intelligence Assistant, you will provide support to the Security Chief and the Intelligence Officer within the department. Your primary focus will be to collect, process, compile, and present information that forms the basis for planning and decision-making related to the regiment's and garrison's operations.
You will also provide general administrative support within the department. The tasks will vary, offering significant opportunities for personal development in the role.
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIREMENTS)
To succeed in this role, we look for someone with:
- Completed basic military training with a passing grade
- Strong administrative skills
- Good reading comprehension and the ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Proficient computer skills

We are looking for you who are responsible, have a good ability to work independently, and take initiative within assigned areas of responsibility, while also possessing strong collaboration skills as you will work closely with the department's employees. You enjoy administrative work, are structured, and have a good ability to handle large amounts of information. You have a high level of security awareness, are meticulous, and are driven by creating order and clarity.
QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)
- Experience working within intelligence and security services
- Completed position-specific training in the intelligence field or other training/knowledge within intelligence and security services
- Work experience within a government agency
- Work experience in administrative work within intelligence and security services
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' protected values
- Experience working in a military staff
- Experience working in IS Undsäk
- University-preparatory upper secondary education

Other Information
Employment type: Fixed-term employment according to the agreement for the employment of group commanders, soldiers, and sailors within the Swedish Armed Forces (GSS/K).
This implies a fixed-term employment of up to 8 years with the possibility of extension for an additional 4 years. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the agency in a relevant area. Full-time position. Workplace: Enköping. Start date: As soon as possible according to agreement.
