About the unit
The Training Unit is a central part of the Air Warfare School (LSS) and collaborates closely with the General Staff, the Air Staff, defense schools, and air wings. Our task is to create conditions for the Air Force's future personnel and competence supply by leading, coordinating, quality assuring, and developing the training activities. We are part of Sweden's active defense effort.
About the position
As a Training Officer, you will work independently and in groups to develop and create training to ensure the Air Force's growth. Your main tasks include training implementation and planning for implementation. This requires an understanding of the current and future training systems and educational pedagogy within the Air Force.
As a Training Officer, you lead meetings and training sessions, produce reports on, and analyze today's and tomorrow's training systems, and contribute to the development of pedagogy within the Air Force.
The position requires that you can perform tasks independently and have a good ability to collaborate in groups, both remotely and physically. You have a strong desire to think new and innovative thoughts and a good ability to drive projects to higher authorities.
Qualifications
- Specialist Officer Degree
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Good ability to handle MS Office, primarily Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Manual B-driver's license
Personal qualities
You are structured and orderly with good collaboration skills. Independence and initiative are natural traits in you. You are service-oriented and have the ability to establish new contacts within and outside the organization. Interest and experience in training activities is an advantage. We are looking for unpretentious individuals ready to handle various tasks in a growing organization. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Post-secondary education and experience deemed meritorious by the employer
- Knowledge of work in SAP (PRIO)
- Experience from working with training activities
- Good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
