Lead Instructor in Electronic Warfare at the Air Force Air Defence and Air Traffic Control School (StrilS)

The Air Force Air Defence and Air Traffic Control School (StrilS)
StrilS is the Air Force's school for air defence and air traffic control. The school conducts basic officer education for both regular officers and specialist officers within air combat control, air defence, and communications services, as well as other competence development for the needs of the air defence and air traffic control organization. The school is also responsible for various tactical data link training for the entire Swedish Armed Forces and has primary responsibility for electronic warfare training within the Air Force.
Main Responsibilities
The Lead Instructor in Electronic Warfare at StrilS is responsible for the administration of courses, course plans, and leads the development and improvement of the Air Force's electronic warfare courses. The Lead Instructor acts as a mentor, provides support to, and leads teachers and instructors. Course planning, teaching, reporting, and acting in a supportive role towards units regarding electronic warfare issues are also part of the responsibilities.
In addition, development work within one's own service branch is a significant part of the Lead Instructor role.
Ability to:
- Guide, direct, and support teachers, instructors, and students within education and the practice of the service branch
- Teach various aspects of electronic warfare and link these to tactics and usage at the unit and formation level
- Plan, report, and disseminate information via VIDAR, PRIO
- Work with development within the service branch
- Hold and convey knowledge about electronic warfare at the unit and formation level, as well as other weapon branches, and translate this into a school environment
- Teach electronic warfare linked to usage at the ship and formation level, as well as other services and weapon branches
- Teach within the electronic warfare service at all levels
- Teach within the electronic warfare service linked to different platforms and weapon branches
Qualifications
- Professional Officer SO 6/7
- Good knowledge of electronic warfare
- Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Category B driver's license

You are social and outgoing with high communicative skills, and feel comfortable working both independently and with others. You are flexible and can handle temporary peaks in workload without becoming stressed.
