One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new Army. An army that focuses on the Army's capabilities in the field and, in doing so, builds new units as well as restructures existing ones. Concurrently, the Army Staff commands units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and production-leads combat units within the Army as well as subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.
Combined with the continued establishment of the Army Staff as a cohesive and unifying force, the tasks are highly varied, developmental, and dynamic.
Information about the position
The Army Staff is an independent organizational unit within the Swedish Armed Forces, where the Technical and Maintenance Office Land (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Armament Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for materiel maintenance, materiel utilization, and materiel maintenance economics within the Swedish Armed Forces, as well as ensuring that materiel is maintained in accordance with system objectives.
TVK Mark consists of five materiel system sections and a coordination section. The coordination section, in turn, consists of three details: the Production Control Detail, the Preparation Detail, and the Materiel Requirements Detail. The Materiel Requirements Detail is where this position is located.
Job Description
As a staff officer with a focus on planning, you, together with the others at the detail, are responsible for analysis, planning, and follow-up within the Swedish Armed Forces' support process for materiel and supply support (MOF). This means ensuring that information reaches the right people, is used correctly, and contributes to efficient resource utilization so that the right materiel reaches the right user at the right time. The work often involves seeing the big picture, prioritizing, and proposing solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Represent the Army Staff in dialogues, staff work, and functional leadership regarding materiel requirements planning within the army, towards OrgE and other TVK/TVA.
- Represent the Army Staff in dialogues and staff work with the Defence Staff regarding materiel requirements planning at the Swedish Armed Forces level.
- Represent TVK Mark internally in the Army Staff in various meetings, preparations, and working groups representing materiel requirements planning (both regarding GRO and KRO).
- Functional leadership and follow-up within TVK Mark regarding materiel requirements planning.
- Participation in the development of methods and support systems within the function's area of responsibility.

Qualifications
- Professional Officer
- Experience working with materiel requirements planning in the Swedish Armed Forces regarding KRO and GRO, in the support systems PRIO and LIFT
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Good knowledge of the Office package
- Category B driver's license
Meritorious
- Work with materiel requirements planning at regimental level or in central staff
- Work at a logistics unit or regimental staff etc. (4-function)
- Work with Technical Service or MOF in the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems LIFT and PRIO
- Work with materiel requirements planning LUKO (formerly MFO)
- Previous work at TVK, TeK, or FMV
Personal Qualities
As a person, you have a good ability to see the big picture, plan, and interact with others to build necessary bridges between different parts of the operation. Salary: Individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
Employment type: Permanent, starts with a six-month probation period if you are not already employed within the Swedish Armed Forces.
