The ambulance care in Pajala has a 24/7 ambulance and a daytime ambulance. The ambulance staff are being integrated into the Pajala Health Centre according to a plan for a unified health centre.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a passed physical fitness test for ambulance care. Pre-hospital experience is desirable. Additional merits include specialist training in ambulance care, emergency care, anaesthesia care, or intensive care. A C1 driver's license is also an advantage for the position. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are stable, structured, and flexible. You value collaboration and see the benefits of working together with others.

What you will work with

As a nurse in ambulance care, you work with emergency care in both planned and unplanned assignments. The work involves independent medical assessments, prioritization, and treatment of patients in various environments, often in collaboration with other actors such as the rescue service, police, and primary care. You are responsible for the patient's care during transport and contribute to ensuring a safe and patient-safe care chain. The work requires good clinical competence, flexibility, and the ability to make decisions in complex situations.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
