DUTIES
We are now looking for a nurse for Pajala Municipality.
As a nurse at Pajala Municipality, you have a varied and independent job. Your duties include healthcare interventions such as medication management, wound dressing, catheter changes, and end-of-life care. The work involves significant personal responsibility with varied tasks, which is why it is important that you are confident in your professional role.
Working hours are Monday–Friday, daytime.
An important part of the job is to supervise, support, and train/delegate health and care tasks to nursing staff.
You are part of the Municipality's Health and Medical Care Unit, which, in addition to nurses, consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and district nurses.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You are a licensed nurse.
- You have a person-centered approach.
- You enjoy working independently and in a team.
- You have good communication skills.
- Experience of municipal care or short-term housing is an advantage.
- Have a B driver's license (required).
Before employment, a certificate of good conduct must be presented according to Law 2026:43 on Register Control in Work in the Home for Elderly Persons or Adults with Disabilities.
Type of employment: Permanent position.

In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means that the salary is set based on the current collective agreement – general provisions including appendices – as well as the municipality's salary policy. When hiring new employees, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements placed on the position. The lowest entry salary is 23,638 SEK. For employees with vocational preparatory upper secondary education, the entry salary is 25,798 SEK.
Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, so it is an advantage if you have knowledge of one or both of these languages.
