We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with experience in psychological assessment and diagnostics. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have specialization in neuropsychology, alternatively clinical psychology or psychology of disabilities, and if you have experience in neuropsychiatric diagnostics, especially for the age group 6–18 years.
We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are structured, work methodically, and create clear structure in the assessment work. You have strong problem-solving skills, analyze complex situations, and find well-founded solutions. With your clinical insight, you contribute to a reflective and solution-focused approach. You plan and document in a way that creates security and continuity for both patients and the team. You drive cases forward with good collaboration skills, working in a receptive and constructive manner with colleagues and other professional groups.
What you will work with
As a psychologist in our neuropsychiatric team, you will have a central role in assessing and diagnosing children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric issues – always in close collaboration with the team. In the long term, the goal is to also offer treatment for certain neuropsychiatric conditions, giving you the opportunity to help shape the development of our working methods.
The team consists of psychologists, child psychiatrists, and a medical secretary. You will become part of a team where we help each other, share knowledge, and support one another in daily work. We operate as part of a new context for Region Norrbotten based on stepped care, where assessments and interventions begin already within primary care and the first line of support.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime hours. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
CAMHS Norrbotten is a county clinic, but our base is in Luleå. Since the team's assignment includes assessments throughout Norrbotten, there is, by agreement, the possibility of placement in Piteå, Kalix, Gällivare, and Luleå.
We conduct background checks before employment decisions in accordance with the provisions of the Act (2013:852) on background checks of persons who are to work with children.
Given the nature of the operations and security requirements, applicants must be prepared to provide extracts from the criminal record register.
