Do you want to stand at the forefront of a new approach to healthcare?
Region Norrbotten is investing in Hospital at Home – a new service where patients receive care in their own homes instead of in a hospital. Now is your opportunity to be part of launching, developing, and working in this service from the very beginning.
We are looking for
We are looking for a registered nurse with at least two years of professional experience. The position also requires a valid driver's license (Category B). Experience from both outpatient and/or inpatient care, prehospital services, and knowledge of the medical record systems Cosmic and Lifecare are considered meritorious.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you must be proactive and self-reliant, with the ability to drive issues forward and take responsibility for your work. You work in a structured manner, are good at planning, organizing, and creating clear working methods, while also being creative and open to developing new solutions in a service under construction.
What you will work with
Hospital at Home is a new form of care in Sweden where patients are treated in their own homes rather than in a hospital. The service is conducted in collaboration with the hospital and targets patients who can remain at home but require medical interventions at a hospital level. As a nurse within Hospital at Home, you will play a central role in the establishment and development of the service. You will help develop working methods before subsequently working within the service.
In this role, you combine clinical work with development work and are part of the project group with a clear operational perspective. You will help create and develop working methods, routines, and structures for Hospital at Home, for example regarding documentation, care flows, and collaboration with other clinics and services. The work also includes participating in the introduction of medical technology equipment, planning and implementing training initiatives, and developing routines for the work group within Hospital at Home. The role entails significant personal responsibility and excellent opportunities to influence and shape the service. The assignment begins immediately upon employment and suits you if you enjoy developing new working methods in a service under construction.
What we offer you
- You become part of a cross-professional project group with managers, nurses, and doctors, where you help shape and develop Hospital at Home
- Development and career opportunities where you get to be part of creating the health and care of the future
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to fitness activities and fitness allowances
