General Practitioner (Specialist in General Medicine) sought for our friendly team at Praktikertjänst Norra Hamn Health Centre in Luleå!

Job responsibilities

You will perform standard duties as a district physician at the health centre. Your clinic will include scheduled appointments with booked patients, acute cases, as well as chat and digital consultations. If you are interested in supervising resident doctors (ST-doctors), there are excellent opportunities for this. The work as a general practitioner will be tailored as much as possible to your interests and experience. We highly value interdisciplinary teamwork and look forward to you becoming part of our team.

On-call and standby duties are included, approximately once per month. The role also includes visits to elderly care homes, HSV patients, as well as Child Health Centres (BVC) and Maternal Health Centres (MVC).

Qualifications

You are a licensed specialist in general medicine with the right to work in Swedish healthcare. Knowledge of the electronic patient record system Cosmic is desirable but not required. Fluent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is mandatory.

You work independently but value close collaboration with colleagues to provide patients with the best possible care.

The position is full-time, but the extent can be adjusted upon agreement.
