The Assessment Team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, totaling 16 people. They work with assessments in ordinary housing together with nursing assistants in the Care and Support Team and within the short-stay unit, Trädgårdens Äldrecentra. There are 36 round-the-clock places for assessment/respite/rotational care for shorter stays.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you have an independent and flexible role in the operations. Together with other nurses, you are responsible for health and medical care interventions in ordinary housing as well as at Trädgårdens Äldrecentra, where the assessment team is involved. Our target group is primarily people over 65 years old.

Your main tasks are to assess, evaluate, and carry out interventions, as well as to support the individual towards increased independence. The role also includes standard nursing duties. Together with the team, you mentor and support other professional groups in their development.

The work is varied and involves many contacts with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other actors both within and outside the organization. Working hours are mainly Monday–Friday, with weekend duty every ninth weekend together with the district nurses of the home care service.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. It is meritorious if you have specialist education in open health care or other further education that the employer finds suitable. A desire to stay updated and engaged in your profession is a prerequisite for success in the role.

You must be able to work independently and be proactive, responsible, and flexible. The work requires that you are structured, have an eye for detail, and a good ability to prioritize. You also have a well-developed planning and collaboration ability.

As a person, you have a good attitude, are pedagogical in your communication, and enjoy working closely in a team. The ability to see opportunities and solutions from a holistic perspective is an important trait of yours.

A B-driving license is required.

About the Position

This is a full-time job. Working hours are mainly Monday to Friday. Weekend duty is included together with the district nurses of the home care service, as well as certain assessments in ordinary housing.

For work with elderly or adults with disabilities, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record register) and a certificate regarding the suspicion register are required before employment can begin.
