About the position
Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

As my assistant, you are my extended arms and legs; I explain what I need help with, but I also appreciate when you take the initiative and see what needs to be done to make daily life flow smoothly. I am a curious and active woman living in Sundbyberg, working with human rights both professionally and voluntarily.
My life is characterized by variety – one day we might cook, organize at home, or work from the office; the next could involve concerts, restaurant visits, or travel. We spend a lot of time together, which means it is important that you are attentive, humble, and have a good sense of integrity, while also being confident in yourself and comfortable in a close collaboration.
Since I live an active life, you need to have a stable physical foundation to support me in daily life. I appreciate you if you are meticulous, have an eye for detail, and are willing to take responsibility for getting things done. If you also have an interest in cooking or are skilled in hair and styling, that is a plus.
For me, this is a service profession where your flexibility, adaptability, and respect for my independence are crucial. With me, you will get a varied and meaningful job where you become an important part of enabling my lifestyle – both in daily life and when I am on the go.
Requirements for the position:
Good knowledge of Swedish
Tolerance for pets (fur animals)
Good physical condition, as the work involves some transfers and lifting
Ability to accompany the client on longer trips
You must be a flexible person who can swap shifts if needed and jump in to work extra shifts with short notice.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary
The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed, where shifts may occur on weekdays and weekends. The working hours are varying 12-hour shifts scheduled during both daytime and nighttime, on weekdays and weekends. An average schedule might look like this:
Weekdays: Day shift 06:30–19:00 / Night shift 19:00–07:00
Weekends: Day shift 08:00–20:00 / Night shift 20:00–08:00
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
