Do you want to make a real difference for young people in a crucial change process?
Supporta Omsorg Acute HVB (Residential Care) receives girls and boys between the ages of 17 and 20 with substance abuse issues. The HVB home is part of our care chain, ranging from acute units and treatment facilities to supported housing. The acute unit is located in Lidköping Municipality.
The expected placement duration at the acute unit is a maximum of 12 weeks. The purpose is for the young people to achieve sobriety and motivation for change, while working on mapping their problem areas, including triggering factors for substance abuse. Co-occurring mental health issues, Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF), and criminality are common.
Job Description:
Your responsibilities include actively working on issues outlined in the young person's implementation plan, in accordance with established goals. This includes regular individual conversations, weekly meetings, reflection sessions, and assessment interviews. You will help the young person strengthen protective factors and minimize risk factors, as well as participate in the scheduled program activities from Monday to Thursday. The role also involves supporting the young person in developing good mental and physical health, and assisting them in achieving sobriety during their placement. The goal is to provide the best possible conditions for a future sober and substance-free life. Documentation is a key part of the job. Routine household chores are also included in the duties.
Working hours are according to a schedule, covering days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications:
A minimum two-year post-secondary education in social work is required. You should have experience from similar operations, such as HVB or schools. You must be able to work independently and handle stress. Good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
You must hold a valid B-driver's license.
Merits:
- Competence in the field of substance abuse care/treatment and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
- Knowledge and experience with substance dependence.
- Experience with motivational interviewing.
- Experience in working with and managing groups.

You possess good social competence, high energy, and strong will.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time role, starting with a six-month probation period. Start date is by agreement.
