Administrative Developer with Deputy Unit Manager Role – Psychiatric Clinic Eksjö
Do you want to be part of developing the administrative operations within psychiatry? We are looking for an administrative developer who will also have an appointment as deputy administrative unit manager at 25%.
The Role of Administrative Developer with Deputy Unit Manager Responsibilities
The Administrative Developer is a specialist function requiring basic competence as a healthcare administrator and specific expertise in healthcare information management, diagnosis and procedure coding, healthcare-related law, psychiatric involuntary care, and administrative development processes. The role combines operational healthcare administrative work with business development, training initiatives, and support to management and operations.
In this role, you lead and coordinate administrative development projects, training initiatives, and the clinic's healthcare administrative routines. You participate in the systematic improvement work of the operations and support the administrative unit manager in business development, follow-up, and personnel administrative matters. You are responsible for the clinic's medical archive as an archivist and coordinate routines related to the Act on Psychiatric Involuntary Care (LPT). The work also includes serving as a healthcare administrator according to the main employment contract.
You function as a specialist resource within healthcare administrative processes and support cross-clinical development projects. Furthermore, you participate in the clinic's Evolution Group, focusing on document management and information control, and in the Cosmic Insight Group, where you contribute to the development, follow-up, and analysis of operational data. You also contribute to the creation and quality assurance of routines, governing documents, decision support materials, reports, and healthcare statistics, and support managers and operations in matters concerning administrative processes, healthcare information management, and digital support systems.
The position is a permanent employment in your primary profession with a time-limited managerial appointment. Start date is by agreement.

At Högland Hospital in Eksjö, there is psychiatric inpatient care, an emergency department, a care on-call service, a referral and assessment unit, as well as one of our outpatient clinics. We also have psychiatric outpatient clinics in Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who are trained as a healthcare administrator with advanced education in diagnosis and procedure coding. You have several years of experience in healthcare administrative work within psychiatric operations, as well as documented experience in healthcare-related law, healthcare information management, and administrative processes related to psychiatric involuntary care. You have good knowledge of the operational systems Cosmic and Evolution, experience with statistical follow-up and operational analysis, and hold a B-driver's license.
It is meritorious if you have experience as a superuser in Evolution or equivalent operational systems, work in Cosmic Insight with queries, reports, and data extraction, as well as development and change work within healthcare. Experience in project work, cross-clinical development initiatives, creation of routines and governing documents, as well as training and supervision assignments, is also seen as meritorious.

You are structured, plan and prioritize your work effectively, and adhere to set deadlines. Furthermore, you are quality-conscious, meticulous, and have a strong focus on achieving the operation's goals and quality requirements.
