Specialist Psychiatry in Region Jönköping County is seeking two Development Managers who wish to contribute to creating equitable, evidence-based, and person-centered care for the county's residents.
The Role of Development Manager
In this role, you will work at a comprehensive level with development, improvement work, and strategic issues affecting the operations of Specialist Psychiatry. You will become a vital link between management, operations, and various collaboration partners, with the opportunity to influence the development of psychiatry throughout the entire county.
You will work both strategically and close to operations, supporting the leadership and operations of Specialist Psychiatry in matters concerning development, coordination, quality, and collaboration.
The assignment includes, among other things:
- Coordinating county-wide assignments, networks, and working groups
- Driving and supporting development and improvement work
- Contributing to the development of care processes, knowledge management, and common working methods
- Coordinating activities, projects, and collaboration efforts within and outside the region
- Supporting leadership and operations with analyses, follow-ups, and implementation of assignments
- Representing Specialist Psychiatry in regional and national contexts
The content of the position will develop over time based on operational needs and current priorities, implying a varied and dynamic assignment. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.
Your Future Workplace
The Psychiatric Clinic in Jönköping is the largest psychiatric clinic in Region Jönköping County and provides specialized psychiatric care for adults. The operations are complex and knowledge-intensive, with a clear focus on quality, patient safety, and efficient use of resources.
The work is carried out in close collaboration between different professions and management functions, with a long-term perspective on the development of working methods and support for operations.
The operational support's primary task is to support managers and employees so that the focus can remain on the core mission – specialized psychiatric care with high quality and good patient safety.
About the Operational Support
The operational support includes:
- Operational Developers working with process development, improvement work, patient safety, and knowledge management
- Research Leaders who coordinate and support the clinic's research and development work
- Development Managers with county-wide assignments towards all four psychiatric clinics in the county
- Safety Coordinators with assignments towards all psychiatric clinics in the county
- Administrative and logistical support, for example regarding permissions, IT support, orders, and fault reports
Your Profile
You have a relevant university degree and experience in development, improvement, coordination, or project work, preferably within healthcare. We are looking for you who have experience in psychiatry or work within the field of mental health. You have also worked with process facilitation, operational development, or change management and have good knowledge of public operations as well as collaboration between different actors.
To succeed in the role, you need to be accustomed to working in complex organizations with many contact surfaces and feel confident in coordinating, driving, and developing work together with several different operations and collaboration partners.
You have the ability to see the big picture while being able to translate goals and strategies into concrete activities. You work in a structured and independent manner but also enjoy creating collaboration and engagement in others. You are communicative, flexible, and have an easy time building trusting relationships. Since the assignment involves many different contact surfaces, we particularly value good cooperation skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
