Hagvidson Ekot in Västerås is a family-oriented preschool with two departments, located in a courtyard close to both playgrounds and forests. This environment inspires and enables plenty of outdoor activities. Safety, participation, and joy are our key words, which we constantly work with, keeping the child's best interests in focus.

We always strive to have the smallest possible child groups. Therefore, our operations are organized so that the children are divided into smaller groups for most of the day. The preschool has cargo bikes that enable longer outdoor visits in different environments. We work with the Green Flag award and conduct a large part of our activities outdoors, including some meals that are prepared and eaten outside.

With the curriculum as a foundation, we as a preschool want to be at the forefront of our work. As a preschool teacher with us, you have a significant role in developing operations based on our key words and driving it forward with support from current research and regulatory documents.

We are looking for you who are educated and licensed as a preschool teacher with experience. You are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and enjoy working in a project-oriented manner. You thrive working both outdoors and indoors during all seasons of the year. You have good collaboration skills with colleagues and guardians, as well as good social competence. You value a structured but flexible work environment and understand the importance of documenting operations at both group and individual levels. Furthermore, you are creative and contribute pedagogical ideas that are rooted in our regulatory documents.

Position:

Permanent position, probationary period of 6 months.

Requirements:

• Licensed preschool teacher with experience
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
