Responsibilities

We are looking for someone interested in working as a school marshal at Prästamosseskolan with students in the middle school grades (grades 4-6), and who also wants to be part of the working group supporting our students in special education (SU) and flexible groups in grades 4-9. You will have a varied job where you, among other things, are responsible for planning and leading recess activities for our middle school students. You will also be part of the work supporting and guiding students in their social interactions with each other.

Part of the role is directed towards our students in our special education groups in grades 4-6 and grades 7-9. There, you will be present as support and inspiration for recess activities and also support students in their teaching.

You are part of a work team where you collaborate with pedagogical staff, school marshals in grades 7-9, as well as our counselors and school leadership.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience in social and pedagogical work with children and young people. To succeed in the role, you need to have a good ability to build relationships and meet our students in a trust-inspiring manner. You need to be creative and enjoy playing and outdoor activities with the children, as well as have knowledge of the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for compulsory school.

Your leadership style is clear, and you have good communication and collaboration skills, and can build relationships with both students, colleagues, and parents.

In the role of school marshal, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills, are flexible and solution-oriented, and can take independent responsibility, thereby leading and organizing your work, as well as having a strong commitment to being involved in other operations.

Merits include social and pedagogical education as a youth leader or other education deemed equivalent, or social pedagogy, as well as experience working with students in compulsory school or alternatively at a youth center.
