About the role
We are currently looking for a Part-time Case Worker for a Swedish government agency in Stockholm for a limited period to support the regular staff. In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls to the agency's Children and Youth Line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and handle incoming calls to the Children and Youth Line between 12:00 – 17:00 on weekdays.
  • Provide telephone counseling to children and young people who call in.
  • Document calls concisely in the internal administrative support system, MinUT.
  • Forward collected information to other employees within the agency when necessary.
  • Prepare concern reports to the Social Services when required.

Duration and Scope:
The Case Worker assignment is a part-time position starting on August 19, 2026, and is expected to last until the turn of the year. The work will primarily be performed in centrally located offices in Stockholm, with some possibility for remote work. Some leave time is available and will be planned in consultation with the agency.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent education in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work degree).
  • At least six (6) months of work experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent software.
  • Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Merits:

  • Experience working in the public sector.
  • Knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act (Förvaltningslagen).
  • At least six (6) months of professional experience as a Social Worker.
  • Experience in conversations with children and young people.
  • Experience with statutory duties of care.

About you:
We are looking for someone with prior experience in similar tasks. You are self-motivated and have the ability to quickly get up to speed with the work. You are flexible, have excellent teamwork skills, and experience working in a team environment.
