Personal Assistants Wanted for Johan – New Home, New Team, and a Chance to Be There from the Start!

My name is Johan, and I am about to take a big and exciting step in life. On October 1, 2026, I will be moving from specialized housing to my own apartment. Therefore, I am now looking for personal assistants who want to help create a safe, fun, and functional daily life together with me.

Introduction will begin already in August at my current residence, so that we have time to get to know each other in a calm and relaxed manner before the moving trucks arrive. In other words: you don't need to be thrown into the deep end with a helmet and fire extinguisher on day one, although humor and stress tolerance are absolutely welcome.

Who am I?

I am a positive and active person who enjoys things happening, depending on my daily mood. I like to play around, bathe, walk, listen to music and audiobooks, exercise, stretch, and go on small adventures. Sometimes it's full speed ahead, and sometimes rest and calm are needed. Your task will be to help me find the right balance.

I communicate a lot through body language, expressions, and mood, so you need to be perceptive, present, and curious to get to know me for real. You don't need to understand everything from the start, but you do need the willingness to understand. That is actually more important than sounding professional during an interview.

About the job

As my personal assistant, you will help me with most things in daily life. This includes personal care, hygiene, meals/tube feeding, medication and other routines, transfers with assistive devices, exercise, stretching, PEP mask use, activities, documentation, and creating a safe and meaningful daily life.

The work is active and requires responsibility, precision, and good judgment. At the same time, there is much joy in the assignment. Here, you will not just be "someone working a shift," but an important part of my new life in my own apartment.

We are looking for someone who:

• is secure, perceptive, and responsible
• has a sense of humor and can be a bit playful with yourself
• can work calmly even when there is a lot to keep track of
• enjoys being active but can also respect the need for rest
• is precise with routines, hygiene, and documentation
• understands the importance of continuity, privacy, and confidentiality
• wants to help build a new assistant team from the ground up

Experience with personal assistance, tube feeding, epilepsy, assistive devices, transfers, or working with people with multiple disabilities is advantageous, but the right personality and willingness to learn are just as important. You will receive introduction and supervision.

What we offer
